Ngunnawal, ACT: Attic Storage Conversion & Access 

This project in Ngunnawal, ACT, focused on delivering crucial new storage space for a family in a smaller home where the garage space was heavily congested.  

The key construction involved converting unused roof space into a functional, accessible storage area. We reinforced the existing ceiling trusses  to ensure the structure could safely support the storage load. We installed a robust pull-down attic ladder, expanding the existing manhole entrance for maximum convenience and accessibility.  

This clever conversion provides the family with an organised, out-of-sight solution for less-used items, immediately freeing up valuable garage and living space. The result is a practical and efficient use of the home's vertical space, significantly enhancing the functionality of the property.
